Patchwork Kicks All Inclusive Kit
In this class, you will install rivets and sew to sole using the tools in the kit or supplied by the store. You must sew, quilt, and bind all fabrics before you come to class. Instructions are included in the kit.
Order and purchase the kit when you register for the class. In addition to the kit, you will need:
1 fat quarter for outside of sneaker wraps and sneaker tongue
1 fat quarter for inside lining of sneaker wraps and lining of sneaker tongue
1 fat quarter for bias binding
Erasable marking pen or chalk
Hammer

What to bring to the class:
Your All Inclusive Kit
The sewn and bound fabrics upper stitched per the instructions in the kit.
Your preferred hammer
Lunch will be on your own at 12pm.

| Skill Details: | The shoe upper is constructed by you before the class session. You will need to be able to cut fabric to the pattern and sew the sections together with interfacing and bind the top. These are basic skills and require only a standard home sewing machine. | Instructor Bio: | Melody considers Montrose her home town, even though her life's adventures have taken her around the world after graduating from MHS, until she and her husband settled on the family farm in eastern Colorado to raise their family. They returned to Montrose in 2012, and now Melody enjoys quilting, reading and jeeping. Her passion for quilting spans 3 decades, and one of her greatest joys is being able to share her skill and knowledge with others to equip them for success as they strive to reach their goals. |
