Since tanning leather has been curtailed with the US. Hides have been more difficult to obtain. We recently received a 'test' shipment of some full grain furniture upholstery hides to examine. The sizes range from 45 sq feet to 55 sq feet. Colors are assorted and since they cannot be specified, we suggest that when you see the hide you want, buy it. Prices range from $200 to $250 each. At $5 to $6 per square foot, it is an exceptional buy.
